C. C. Young Announces Dedication of New Sculpture Pavilion
C. C. Young announced the dedication ceremony of its new Sculpture Pavilion, situated within the campus’ Central Park and open to the general public. C. C. Young will host a dedication ceremony at 2:00pm on Sunday, September 13, 2015, at the Sculpture Pavilion.
“The Sculpture Pavilion was built to represent creativity and a vibrancy of life—the mission and vision of C. C. Young,” commented Nancy Ann Hunt, who, with her husband Ray, designed and funded the project. “We envisioned a pavilion in the center of campus which could be artful and fun, allowing residents, families, and the community to engage in a wide range of activities and to develop broader friendship opportunities amongst residents.”
The Sculpture Pavilion, designed by Nicholas Dean of D2 Architecture, opens as a multi-use hub in the center of campus, complete with full audio/visual capabilities for performances, gatherings, and events and will feature various programming offerings throughout the year, available to residents and open to the Dallas/Fort Worth community.Press_Release_Pavilion Dedication_FINAL 8-26-15
